Neowork Gmbh is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager (Independent Contractor) to lead the accounting team in a full-time, remote role based in the Philippines. You will oversee AP, AR, GL, and financial reporting, while implementing best practices and improving processes across multiple clients.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of accounting experience, strong leadership, and a track record of developing SOPs and scalable workflows. You will partner with internal teams and U.S.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in accounting with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to lead teams and develop staff.
• Experience building scalable processes and writing SOPs.
• Strong proficiency with accounting tools and financial systems.
• Excellent communication with internal and U.S. stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function across multiple hospitality clients, including AP, AR, and GL management.
• Develop scalable workflows, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Train and mentor the accounting team for consistent service quality.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and review complex items.
• Support month-end close and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with leadership to design future team structures.
