Job summary

MyCareerPlus Virtual Assistance Services seeks an Offshore Delivery Manager (Accounting) to lead a Philippines-based team serving US clients. You will own staffing, onboarding, and quality standards, while scaling to absorb 8–10 more engagements in 12 months.

You will recruit, train, and mentor staff, develop SOPs, and ensure timely, accurate accounting deliverables that meet client expectations and US GAAP requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading accounting teams of 15–30+ professionals.
• Previous roles as Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Manager, or similar.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and ability to ensure quality of deliverables.
• Experience in interviewing and hiring accounting professionals.
• Ability to build structured training programs and onboarding.
• Proven ability to define SOPs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a Philippines-based accounting delivery team for US clients.
• Maintain staffing maps, capacity, utilization, and gaps for client work.
• Increase billable capacity without sacrificing quality.
• Identify at-risk engagements and address issues early.
• Partner with recruitment to define roles and assessments.
• Mentor staff and develop career paths; manage performance.
• Create onboarding and training programs for new hires.
• Review work for errors before delivery to clients or onshore reviewers.
