Job summary

ScaleNorth is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead our accounting and finance team in a client-facing, highly collaborative role. You will drive month-end close, financial reporting, and balance-sheet clean-up for diverse clients leveraging NetSuite and advanced Excel models.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in accounting leadership, CPA preferred, and a proven ability to scale operations while maintaining GAAP compliance. This is a 100% remote position with limited travel.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years as an Accounting Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience and GAAP knowledge.
• Strong communication and client-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting and finance team, oversee full-cycle accounting.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Onboard new clients and triage balance sheets with audit-ready accuracy.
• Collaborate with external auditors and improve processes with technology.
