Job summary

Planate Management Group in the Philippines seeks a QA/QC Engineer to design quality standards, inspect materials and processes, and develop quality control systems for construction projects. Relocation to project sites is required.

The ideal candidate is a licensed engineer with at least five years of onsite QA experience in large infrastructure, with strong English communication and the ability to work with staff and consultants on testing procedures and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Licensed Engineer with minimum 5 years in large infrastructure projects.
• Experience in QA/QC planning, testing, and root-cause analysis.
• Proficient in English communication; willing to relocate to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare QA/QC plans for new construction and refurbishment work
• Ensure QA procedures including inspection, sampling and testing timelines
• Oversee material quality through laboratory tests
• Review specifications and recommend standard construction practices
• Review test forms, QA schedules and test results
• Advise on contractor practices and remedial actions
• Coordinate with project engineers for inspection and testing procedures
• Perform other related duties
