Job summary

Planate Management Group South East Asia Corp invites a QA/QC Engineer to join our Philippines sites. You will design quality standards, inspect materials and processes, and develop QC systems to ensure top-quality outcomes across construction projects.

You must be willing to relocate to project sites and collaborate with engineers, consultants, and suppliers to enforce testing, sampling, and inspection procedures for continuous quality control.

Qualifications

• Licensed Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in large infrastructure projects.
• Preferably with Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification.
• Onsite construction QA/QC and safety surveillance experience on commercial or military projects.
• Experience in pre-stressing and concrete mix-design under varied conditions.
• Excellent written and spoken English; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare QA/QC plans for new construction and refurbishment work.
• Establish quality procedures including inspection timelines and testing requirements.
• Oversee material quality through laboratory tests.
• Review technical specs and recommend standard construction practices.
• Review test forms, QA testing schedules, and evaluate results.
• Assess contractor practices and propose remedial actions as needed.
• Coordinate with project engineers and designers on QA/QC procedures.
• Conduct initial source assessments for materials to ensure value.
