Job summary

Planate Management Group in the Philippines is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to design quality standards, inspect materials, equipment, processes and products, and develop quality control systems for construction projects. The role requires a licensed engineer with 5+ years of infrastructure experience and strong English communication.

You must be willing to relocate to any of our project sites as needed, with a focus on ensuring quality across diverse sites and complex infrastructure assignments.

Qualifications

• Licensed Engineer with 5+ years in large infrastructure projects.
• Construction Quality Management certification preferred.
• 5 years onsite construction QA and safety surveillance experience.
• Experience in pre-stressing works and concrete mix-design in varying conditions.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare QA/QC plans for new construction and refurbishment work.
• Establish QA/QC procedures including inspection/testing timelines.
• Oversee QA/QC material testing in laboratories.
• Review technical specifications and recommend standard construction practices.
• Review test forms, QA schedules and evaluate results.
• Assess contractor practices and recommend remedial action.
• Collaborate with project engineers/design consultants on inspection and testing procedures.
• Survey material sources for quality and value for the project.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
