Job summary

Planate Management Group in the Philippines is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to design quality standards, inspect materials and processes, and develop quality control systems for major construction projects. Relocation to project sites is required.

The ideal candidate is a licensed engineer with 5+ years in large infrastructure, with experience in pre-stressing and concrete mix-design, and holds CQM certification preferred. Strong English and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Engineer with 5+ years in large infrastructure projects.
• CQM for Contractors certification preferred.
• 5 years of onsite construction QA and safety surveillance experience on major projects.
• Experience in pre-stressing works and concrete mix-design under varied conditions.
• Excellent English communication; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare QA/QC plans for new construction and refurbishment work.
• Ensure QA procedures including inspection time limits for sampling and testing.
• Oversee quality assessment of materials through laboratory tests.
• Review technical specifications and recommend standard construction specs.
• Review standard test forms and evaluate results as appropriate.
• Coordinate with project staff for QA requirements and testing procedures.
• Conduct initial supplier material source queries to ensure value.
