Job summary

ORIX METRO Leasing and Finance Corporation in the Philippines is hiring a Relationship Specialist to grow an existing portfolio and generate new business, meeting annual volume targets. You will solicit new borrowing accounts, monitor client needs, prepare credit proposals, and ensure timely, compliant submissions.

The role requires visiting clients, maintaining relationships, and ensuring documentary requirements before disbursement, while operating onsite at the Baguio Branch.

Qualifications

• Graduates of business-related courses preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• At least 1 year of leasing/financing experience is a plus.
• Fresh graduates are welcome and should show strong academics and initiative.
• Willing to report onsite daily in the Baguio Branch.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive confidently.

Responsibilities

• Explore and initiate development of new borrowing accounts via direct solicitation, dealer referrals, and similar initiatives.
• Monitor market movements and changes in clients' needs and in financial products.
• Conduct regular client and plant visits to maintain accounts and gather developments.
• Secure pre-approval requirements to evaluate borrowers' credit risk profiles.
• Package credit facilities and prepare corresponding credit proposals.
• Prepare marketing write-ups, ICRRS inputs, and other credit information for evaluation/approval.
• Prepare a call report for client visits or significant account developments.
• Conduct periodic reviews and classify accounts with deteriorating financials or credit standings.
• Ensure complete documentary requirements before loan/lease proceeds are released.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and BSP regulations.

Role Overview:

The Relationship Specialist (RS) is responsible for the growth and development of an existing portfolio and the generation of new business to expand the company's client base, as well as the attainment of assigned volume targets.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Explore and initiate the development of new borrowing accounts through direct solicitations, dealer referrals, and other similar initiatives




• Monitor market movements and changes in clients' needs, as well as strategies and developments in the latest financial products




• Conduct regular client and plant visits to establish and maintain good working relationships with accounts and to obtain firsthand information on any developments within the accounts




• Secure all pre-approval requirements necessary to evaluate the borrower's credit risk profile




• Package credit facilities suitable for clients' needs and prepare corresponding credit proposals




• Ensure timely preparation and submission of marketing write-ups, ICRRS (Internal Credit Risk Rating System), and other credit information as inputs to the credit evaluation and approval processes




• Prepare a call report each time a visit is made to a client, or a significant development occurs regarding the account




• Conduct periodic reviews and initiate classification of accounts, especially those with deteriorating financial or credit standings




• Ensure receipt of complete documentary requirements prior to the release of any proceeds to the borrower




• Ensure that all loan or lease availments comply with all existing bank policies and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) regulations

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any business-related course, preferably Marketing Management, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Communications, or other related disciplines




• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high level of strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities




• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines




• At least 1 year of experience in leasing and financing is a plus
