Job summary

KWS Vegetables is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive growth in Northwest Mexico. Based in Culiacán or Sonora, you will manage the sales cycle, build demand for our vegetable seed varieties, and nurture direct relationships with customers and distributors.

You will develop annual trial plans, monitor market trends, and apply strong product knowledge to differentiate offerings. Fluent English is required; experience in the vegetable seed industry is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a B.S. in Agronomy or Horticulture
• 3+ years of experience in the vegetable seed industry is preferred
• General experience in sales
• Fluent English in word and writing, additional language(s) are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Generate demand among customers for KWS varieties within the assigned territory.
• Develop and implement a sales action plan to achieve annual sales and margin targets.
• Initiate and maintain direct contact and ongoing relationships with customers, prospects, distributors, and other relevant industry stakeholders.
• Develop and implement annual trial plans to position new varieties in the region and create demand for future sales.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the product portfolio, as well as the ability to identify the key characteristics new varieties should have in order to stand out and deliver added value.
• Monitor and report market data and information on acreage, prices, competitive activities, and market trends.
• Sales management and development within the assigned territory.
• Engagement with customers, prospects, distributors, and industry contacts.
• Provide a high level of product knowledge and information.
