Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Country Manager for Philippines & Vietnam to lead the affiliate, shape strategy, and drive sales performance. Based in Manila, you will oversee cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and expand go-to-market efforts across direct and distributor channels while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will work with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, QA, HR, and Finance to optimize growth, profitability, and market access, traveling up to 30–40% as needed to support regional objectives.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing within healthcare.
• At least 10 years in leadership positions, preferably with multinational companies in Philippines or Vietnam.
• Proven direct/distributor channel management experience.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, regulatory environments and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, develop and implement business strategies aligned with company goals.
• Direct the preparation of operating budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
• Lead the Commercial team in the affiliate with operational responsibilities and regulatory compliance.
• Drive an integrated go-to-market approach across direct sales, distributors, hospitals, consumer channels and e-commerce.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, QA, HR and Finance to support the affiliate.
• Monitor reimbursement landscape and lead Market Access engagement for outcomes.
• Set KPIs, monitor performance and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and patient advocacy groups.
• Develop talent pipelines and coach team members; foster inclusive culture.
