Job summary

The Assistant Controller will serve as the primary deputy to the Corporate Controller, overseeing the Singapore and Indonesia entities. You will drive month-end close, ensure IFRS and local standards compliance, and manage multi-entity financial operations with strong analytical rigor.

Leading regional accounting teams, you will implement policies, coordinate with treasury and tax, and provide reporting and insights to the Board.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in senior accounting/controllership.
• Direct experience managing financial operations within Singapore and Indonesia markets is highly preferred.
• Licensed CA or CPA (ISCA, IAPI, or equivalent).
• Extensive IFRS 15 revenue recognition, equity expensing, and multi-currency consolidations.
• Experience with regional tax frameworks (VAT/withholding taxes).
• ERP implementation and automation experience is a plus.
• Big Four background is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dep­uty Leadership: help design and enhance accounting policies and systems across regional entities.
• Multi-Entity Close: manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for SG and ID with multi-currency consolidations.
• Technical Standards: ensure IFRS/SFRS/PSAK compliance across entities.
• Regional Compliance: align policies with local statutory requirements (ACRA/IRAS, DJP/OJK).
• Intercompany & Transfer Pricing: reconcile intercompany accounts and TP documentation with external consultants.
• Entity/Project Tracking: allocate expenses per tax structures and project requirements.
• Regulatory Monitoring: stay updated on local tax laws and IFRS developments.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: coordinate with regional ops to improve controls and processes.
• Reporting & Analysis: support Controller with multi-entity consolidation and cash flow forecasts.
• FP&A Integration: collaborate on Budgets vs. Actuals analyses.
