Job summary

State Street in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned Controllership professional to lead all aspects of local entity and BU controllership, ensuring accurate financial results and strong internal controls. You will coordinate with Global Close and Consolidation teams on monthly close, support governance committees, tax and audit processes, and collaborate with SEA entities when needed.

Qualifications

Qualified Accountant with approximately 6–8 years in a Finance Controller role in banking.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to understand and ensure compliance with local reporting requirements.
Fast learner with excellent attention to detail.
Experience with Oracle or SUN is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Manage controllership for the Philippine entity and business units to ensure accurate financial results and robust internal controls.
Coordinate with Global Close and Consolidation teams on monthly close for accuracy and efficiency.
Provide support for governance, tax, audit, and risk committees and BOT risk oversight as needed.
Oversee local tax compliance, including direct/indirect taxes and transfer pricing.
Support external auditors and remediation of internal control findings; assist Treasurer with treasury and financial regulation tasks.
