Gladex Travel and Tours Corp. is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to support manpower needs across sales, reservations, operations, and customer service.
You will source, screen, and coordinate candidates, ensuring timely hiring during peak seasons while upholding company policies and providing a positive candidate experience. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of recruitment or HR experience, preferably in travel or customer service hiring.
The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for supporting the manpower needs of the Travel & Tours operations by sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for sales, reservations, operations, customer service, and tour-related roles. This role ensures timely hiring to support peak seasons while maintaining a positive candidate experience and compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements for sales, ticketing, reservations, tours, and operations
Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and walk-in applications
Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews focusing on customer service skills, sales ability, and industry fit
Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and operations teams
Assist in high-volume and seasonal recruitment (peak travel periods)
Maintain recruitment trackers, applicant databases, and talent pools
Prepare job offers and assist in completing pre-employment and onboarding requirements
Support onboarding and orientation of new hires, especially frontliners and sales staff
Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and labor laws
Promote the company as an employer of choice within the travel and tourism industry
Perform other HR and recruitment-related duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field
At least 1 year of recruitment or HR experience (experience in travel, tourism, sales, or customer service hiring is an advantage)
Familiarity with online job portals and social media recruitment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
