Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a detail-driven General & Record to Report (R2R) Accountant to oversee core general ledger accounting, revenue tracking, and intercompany reconciliations for global entities. You will manage month-end close processes, ensure balance sheet integrity, and uphold IFRS and group policies.

The ideal candidate will have CPA/ACCA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualifications, strong MS Excel skills, and experience with Oracle, Trintech, Kyriba, or OneStream.

Qualifications

• Credentials: Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience in a general accounting or R2R role.
• Technical Expertise: Strong foundation in general ledger accounting, control frameworks, and financial close management.
• Systems Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills; experience with Oracle, Trintech, Kyriba, or OneStream is highly preferred.
• Core Competencies: High attention to detail, exceptional time management, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Financial Close: Prepare and maintain journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and recharges to execute accurate month-end close in alignment with IFRS and group policies.
• Revenue Accounting & Oversight: Manage daily revenue reporting, oversee system hand-offs and reconciliations, and handle broker revenue share requests.
• Intercompany & Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations, monitor netting settlements, and conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations across Treasury platforms.
• Balance Sheet Control: Prepare comprehensive monthly balance sheet substantiations, ensuring clear documentation, supporting schedules, and timely variance resolution.
• Audit & Continuous Improvement: Support internal and external audit deliverables while identifying operational efficiencies and automation opportunities in accounting workflows.
