Q2 HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Associate Manager, Accounting – Record-to-Report to oversee a team of Accounting Analysts in a fast-paced shared services environment in the Philippines.

You will manage day-to-day R2R operations, ensure controls and GAAP compliance, and drive continuous process improvements while developing your direct reports. Strong leadership and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• CPA license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in Record-to-Report or similar accounting function.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
• Must have managed 2–3 direct reports.
• Shared services/global business center experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of US GAAP is an advantage.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day R2R operations and monitor workloads/SLAs.
• Document, update, and communicate processes and controls to the team.
• Ensure controls within R2R and compliance with GAAP.

About the Role

Work Setup: Onsite, with one work-from-home day per week upon regularization
Employment Type: Full-time and permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

We are looking for an experienced Associate Manager, Accounting – Record-to-Report to manage and supervise Accounting Analysts supporting multiple accounting clusters.

In this role, you will oversee day-to-day R2R operations, monitor workloads and service-level agreements, strengthen accounting controls, and lead process improvement initiatives. You will also be responsible for managing the performance and development of your direct reports.

This opportunity is ideal for a CPA with strong Record-to-Report experience, proven leadership capabilities, and experience working in a fast-paced accounting or shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Finance Manager to establish and lead day-to-day operational strategies through rigorous monitoring of daily workloads and service-level agreements.
• Ensure that all processes and controls are adequately documented, updated, and communicated to all team members.
• Ensure the effective implementation of controls within the Record-to-Report operating environment and full compliance with financial policies and GAAP.
• Lead and guide the team in identifying and implementing continuous improvements across the R2R process and related processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage the performance and development of direct reports.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support financial reporting activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• A valid Certified Public Accountant license is required.
• At least three to five years of experience in Record-to-Report or the same accounting function is required.
• At least one to two years of supervisory experience is required.
• Must have experience managing at least two to three direct reports.
• Shared services or global business center experience is an advantage.
• Strong change management and continuous process improvement capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• SAP experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of US GAAP is an advantage.
