We’re Hiring: Record to Report (R2R) Accountant (Spanish-Speaking Preferred)
We are looking for a highly driven Record to Report (R2R) Accountant, with a strong preference for Spanish-speaking professionals, to join our team. This role is ideal for finance experts who excel in general accounting, financial reporting, and process excellence within a dynamic and multicultural environment.
Role Overview
As an R2R Accountant, you will serve as a subject matter expert across general accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting aligned with corporate standards. You will play a critical role in supporting business decisions through reliable financial data while maintaining strict compliance with internal controls and service level expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all financial accounting activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and accounting standards in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation
- Provide technical expertise in Record to Report processes and resolve complex queries or escalations
- Review financial reports, including reconciliations and variance analysis
- Prepare schedules and compile supporting documentation for audits
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide tax-related information for annual tax computation and estimates
- Support Fixed Assets processes, including:
- Asset creation and updating
- Settlement rules between WBS and assets
- Monthly asset module closing
- Participate in project management related to master data creation and capitalization timelines
- Perform CTA and Fixed Assets Accounting responsibilities as defined in the Financial Target Operating Model
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Experience in a Shared Services Center is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of R2R accounting processes and proper accounting treatments
- Proficiency in SAP and OneStream, and advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred; strong English communication skills (written and verbal) are required
- Must be flexible with work schedule:
- Willing to support US region during month-end closing (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- Month-end closing follows the France bank holiday calendar (where applicable)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Solid commercial awareness and understanding of the financial environment
- Ability to collaborate across teams, functions, and cultures
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines
