Job summary

Accenture Inc. in the Philippines seeks a detail-oriented RTR professional to support end-to-end accounting and financial reporting.

You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statements in a corporate finance/shared services context. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in RTR/GL or 5+ years with end-to-end accounting exposure, with strong analytical and communication skills and exposure to ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant RTR, General Ledger, or Financial Reporting experience.
• At least 5 years in RTR or General Ledger with end-to-end accounting exposure and leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience in General Ledger Accounting.
• Hands-on experience in Journal Entries.
• Hands-on experience in Accruals and Prepayments.
• Hands-on experience in Account Reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience in Month-End Close.
• Hands-on experience in Financial Reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in Shared Services, BPO, Global Business Services, or Multinational Finance Operations is an advantage.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, BlackLine, Hyperion, Dynamics 365, NetSuite, PeopleSoft.
• Experience in process improvement, automation, or transition projects is an advantage.
• Amenable to work Full RTO in Quezon City, Mandaluyong, Taguig, or Alabang.
• Willing to work in any shifts i.e. night shift, graveyard schedule etc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, payroll, and reclassifications.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, fixed asset, intercompany, and accrual account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities while ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines.
• Conduct account analysis and investigate account variances and unusual fluctuations.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with treasury and cash management activities, including cash positioning, cash forecasting, and bank transaction monitoring.
• Support internal and external audit requirements through timely preparation of schedules and documentation.
• Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Provide process guidance, knowledge sharing, and support to team members as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Record to Report (RTR) Professional to support end-to-end accounting and financial reporting processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.

This role is ideal for accounting professionals with experience in General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities within a corporate finance, shared services, or BPO environment.

• SME/Subject Matter Expert: At least 2 years of relevant RTR, General Ledger, or Financial Reporting experience.

• Team Lead/Managerial Role: At least 5 years of RTR or General Ledger experience with exposure to end-to-end accounting processes. And haveLeadership, coaching, supervisory, or people management experience
