Job summary

The Citco Group Limited is seeking a senior accounting professional to lead real estate fund administration, oversee reporting, and manage client relationships. You will review complex ledgers, capital activity, and partner allocations while coordinating with auditors and senior management.

Advantageous IFRS/GAAP knowledge and experience with real estate/private equity accounting systems will support performance. A supervisory background and strong Excel skills are required for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master level degree (in accounting, finance, economics).
• Professional accounting designation required.
• 8+ years’ experience in accounting for financial services, Real Estate, Asset Management or Fund Administration.
• Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 6+ years.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is an added advantage.
• Experienced in reviewing general ledger and financial statements.
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS required.
• Experience with real estate/private equity accounting systems preferred.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel).

Responsibilities

• Review Quarterly/Monthly reports and working papers, including Cash and Position, Reconciliations, expense accruals, dividends and interest accruals.
• Review capital activity pertaining to funds (Capital Call and Distribution processing).
• Review Limited Partner and General partner allocations; calculations and schedules. – includes review of Admin/Management fees/Waterfall/Clawback calculations.
• Maintain trial balances and related working papers, financial statements, footnotes and Partner Capital Statements.
• Share overall responsibility for client relationships, inquiries and meetings.
• Interact with Senior Management and clients.
• Review procedures and recommend solutions to improve efficiencies.
• Ensure adherence to audit standards and coordinate external audit process.
• Liaise with clients on accounting and admin issues and developments.
• Provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients.
