Job summary

SPX PHILIPPINES INC. is seeking an operations coordinator to optimize truck scheduling and routing to improve asset utilization and reduce idle time. You will coordinate with drivers, vendors, and 3PLs to ensure timely pickups, deliveries and issue resolution.

This role maintains reliable truck availability for orders to hubs, aligns dock access with RC throughput, and handles payments and coordination tasks to support daily transport operations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule truck arrival and departure effectively to reduce idle time, utilizing real-time adjustments.
• Develop optimal truck routing and implement strategies to maximize route efficiency and truck utilization while minimizing costs.
• Cultivate and manage strong relationships with 3PL vendors in line with day-to-day Ops.
• Ensure consistent truck availability for transporting orders to hubs.
• Schedule daily truck call times, considering RC throughput and loading dock availability.
• Handle payment transactions and associated payment processes.
• Coordinate with agency coordinators to oversee agency teams.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve any issues promptly.
• Perform other tasks as required to support RC operations.
