Job summary

PMQS Construction Solutions, Inc. in Ortigas Center, Pasig City is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) to manage costs and quantities for electrical works across multiple sites.

You will prepare bills of quantities, analyze drawings, and collaborate with project teams to keep projects on budget and on schedule. The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a QS consultancy, and proficiency with QS

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor focusing on electrical works.
• Experience in a QS Consultancy Firm preferred.
• Proficient in quantity surveying software.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple projects and report to the office Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed bills of quantities and cost estimates for mechanical and electrical works.
• Analyse project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to identify work requirements and calculate quantities.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project costs are tracked and controlled.
• Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to keep stakeholders informed of financial performance.
• Assist with procurement and tendering, including evaluating bids and negotiating contracts.
• Identify potential cost savings and advise on cost-effective construction methods.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) to join our growing team at PMQS Construction Solutions, Inc. in Ortigas Center, Pasig City (stay-out). This is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in the success of our construction projects by providing expert cost management and quantity surveying services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed bills of quantities and cost estimates for mechanical and electrical works on construction projects
