Job summary

Airmix Enterprise Construction Incorporated in Commonwealth, Quezon City, Metro Manila, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) to join our team on a full-time basis. You will prepare accurate cost estimates and manage budgets for electrical works across projects.

You will collaborate with electrical engineers, contractors and project managers, review drawings and tender documents, and maintain detailed records of estimates and cost data for future reference.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with electrical works.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components and standards.

Responsibilities

Airmix Enterprise Construction Incorporated is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This role is based in Commonwealth, Quezon City, Metro Manila and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to significant construction projects in the electrical estimating sector. As Quantity Surveyor (Electrical), you will play a crucial role in our estimating and project management operations. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing budgets, and ensuring financial viability of electrical works across our construction projects. This position is strategically important to our company's success, as precise quantity surveying directly impacts project profitability and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for electrical works on construction projects
• Conduct site measurements and surveys to gather accurate data for estimation purposes
• Analyse construction drawings, specifications and tender documents to determine material and labour requirements
• Liaise with electrical engineers, contractors and project managers to clarify project requirements and specifications
• Monitor project costs and provide regular budget reports to senior management and clients
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for electrical materials and services
• Track variations and changes to project scope, ensuring appropriate cost adjustments are documented
• Prepare tender documentation and assist in the bidding process for new projects
• Maintain detailed records of estimates, quotations and cost data for future reference
• Review invoices and claims against original estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance

What we're looking for

• Recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with specialisation in electrical works
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, installation methods and industry standards
• Proficiency in using estimating software, CAD applications and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and contract documents accurately
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Knowledge of Philippine Building Code and construction regulations
• Experience with project management and cost control procedures
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
