Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our team on ongoing construction projects in the Philippines.

The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Electrical Engineering with 4–7 years of experience, and will handle take-offs, cost estimates, BoQ, procurement support, and on-site payments and contracts.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 4–7 years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably on electrical-heavy construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, cost estimation, and contract administration.
• Proficient in MS Office and QS software.
• Good communication and analytical skills.

• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for electrical works.

• Review drawings, specifications, and design changes
• Assist with Bill of Quantities (BoQ) preparation
• Support procurement and subcontractor management activities
• Monitor project progress, conduct site visits, and manage valuations and payments
• Maintain accurate project and commercial documentation

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• At least 4 to 7 years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in construction projects with significant electrical works
• Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, cost estimation, and contract administration
• Proficient in MS Office and QS-related software
• Good communication and analytical skills
