AQUADYSINC in Quezon City, Metro Manila, seeks a skilled Quantity Surveyor / Cost Estimator for full-time work to support project costing, budgeting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
You will prepare detailed estimates, takeoffs, and cost reports, collaborate with project teams, and update cost databases to enable accurate budgeting and informed decision-making. Strong Excel, BIM, and cost tools are required.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Cost Estimator to join AQUADYSINC on a full-time basis in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This role is pivotal to our construction operations, combining technical expertise with commercial acumen to ensure accurate project costing, budgeting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle. You will play a crucial strategic role in supporting our project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, whilst maintaining our reputation for excellence and professionalism.

Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender documents for construction projects of varying complexity and scale
Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
Analyse and compare material, labour, and equipment costs to develop competitive and accurate project budgets
Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, tracking expenditures against budgets and identifying cost overruns or savings
Prepare variation orders, claims documentation, and change order assessments to support project administration
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure cost control and financial targets are met
Maintain and update cost databases, historical data, and pricing information to support future estimating activities
Prepare cost reports and financial analyses for management and clients, highlighting budget performance and recommendations
Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and negotiate pricing for materials and services
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Cost Estimator, or in a similar role within the construction industry
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and cost estimation tools such as CostOS, Buildr, or similar platforms
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost modelling, budget tracking, and financial analysis
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and current market pricing in the Philippine construction industry
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
Professional certification as a Quantity Surveyor (QS) from a recognised body is preferred
Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and quantity extraction from BIM models is advantageous
Knowledge of Philippine Building Code and relevant construction standards and regulations
