Job summary

AQUADYSINC in Quezon City, Metro Manila, seeks a skilled Quantity Surveyor / Cost Estimator for full-time work to support project costing, budgeting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

You will prepare detailed estimates, takeoffs, and cost reports, collaborate with project teams, and update cost databases to enable accurate budgeting and informed decision-making. Strong Excel, BIM, and cost tools are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years in QS, cost estimator, or similar construction role.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and cost estimation tools (CostOS, Buildr, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost modelling and budgeting.
• Knowledge of Philippine construction methods, market pricing, and Building Code.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender documents for a range of construction projects.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications.
• Analyse material, labour, and equipment costs to develop accurate budgets.
• Monitor project costs and flag overruns or savings against budgets.
• Prepare variation orders, claims, and change order assessments.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to control costs.
• Maintain cost databases and pricing information for future estimating.
• Prepare cost reports and financial analyses for management and clients.
• Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering to identify savings.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and negotiate pricing.
