• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality control, process engineering, or operational excellence in manufacturing, logistics, or retail distribution.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 and others).
• Experience with Six Sigma/Lean or similar frameworks is preferred.

About the role

DHL Supply Chain Phils., Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Officer/Process Engineer to join our operations team in Cabuyao City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and operational excellence across our supply chain and retail distribution operations. As a Quality Officer/Process Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimising operational efficiency. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction in the retail and consumer products sector.

Key responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures and standards across all operational processes

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements
• Analyse production and operational data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
• Lead root cause analysis investigations when quality issues or deviations occur, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and retail teams to optimise processes and enhance productivity
• Prepare comprehensive quality reports and performance metrics for management review
• Conduct training and coaching sessions with staff to promote quality awareness and adherence to standard operating procedures
• Maintain and update quality documentation, including work instructions, checklists, and standard operating procedures
• Engage with process improvement initiatives, including lean methodologies and continuous improvement programmes
• Liaise with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns and ensure satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in quality control, process engineering, or operational excellence within manufacturing, logistics, or retail distribution environments
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
• Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with quality assurance tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or similar frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with quality management software or ERP systems
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance
• Certification in quality management (such as CQE, ASQ, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential
• Experience in the retail, consumer products, or supply chain industry is advantageous
