Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Quality Assurance/Control professional to lead audits, improve processes and support a compliant quality system in a manufacturing/logistics setting.

You will drive ISO 9001 quality practices, maintain quality metrics, and coach teams on procedures, aiming to reduce defects and enhance performance across the site.

Qualifications

• College diploma or degree in engineering, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of quality assurance or control experience in manufacturing, transport or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using quality management software and data analysis tools.
• Experience in performance management and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify non-conformities.
• Implement quality control measures to prevent quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality problems.
• Maintain records and metrics to track quality performance.
• Provide training on quality procedures to production staff.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and quality management principles.
• Pursue opportunities to improve quality systems.
• Drive the implementation of the 4 OMS principles and 12 OMS elements and maintain the OMS.
• Support the site management team to establish and maintain an organization that delivers.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Job Standardization.
• Support continuous improvement.
• Coach of a team, ensuring everyone plays by the rules to achieve success.

Requirements

• College diploma or degree in engineering, business administration or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and quality control techniques
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using quality management software and data analysis tools
• Experience in performance management, productivity and continuous improvement methodologies
