Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an OMS Champion to support the Operations Management System on site in the Calabarzon area. You will work with site leadership to drive OMS principles and track achievements, coaching teams to sustain high performance.

Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining Job Standardization, driving continuous improvement, and guiding a team to operate within established rules to achieve success. Strong quality management background and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• College diploma or degree in engineering, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and quality control techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using quality management software and data analysis tools.
• Experience in performance management, productivity and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Implement quality control measures and processes to prevent quality issues from occurring.

Oms Functions

The Purpose of the OMS Champion Job is to support the implementation of the Operations Management System on site and ensure sustainability. This includes the development and coaching of the site leadership team (supervisors and coordinators) and the tracking of the OMS achievements.

• Drive the implementation of the 4 OMS principles and 12 OMS elements and maintain the OMS
• Support the site management team to establish and maintain an organization that delivers
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Job Standardization
• Support continuous improvement
• Coach of a team, ensuring everyone plays by the rules to achieve success.

Requirements

• College diploma or degree in engineering, business administration or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and quality control techniques
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using quality management software and data analysis tools
• Experience in performance management, productivity and continuous improvement methodologies
