Liberty Commodities Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a licensed Quality Control Analyst to perform laboratory testing and quality evaluations to ensure that raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods meet quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.
The role involves physico-chemical analysis, bake tests, sensory evaluations, accurate sampling, and maintaining audit-ready documentation, with collaboration across Production and Warehouse to address quality concerns.
We are looking for a licensed Quality Control Analyst to perform laboratory testing and quality evaluations to ensure that raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods meet established quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct physico-chemical analysis, bake tests, and sensory evaluations
Ensure accurate sampling, testing, and compliance with approved methods and standards
Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready laboratory documentation
Perform equipment calibration, monitoring, and coordination of maintenance
Identify and manage non-conforming materials; support root cause analysis and corrective actions
Support GMP, HACCP, ISO, and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) requirements
Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, and other departments on quality concerns
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
PRC Licensed (Food Technologist, Chemist, Nutritionist, or Chemical Engineer)
Candidates must hold any of the four acceptable PRC licences: Food Technologist, Chemist, Nutritionist, or Chemical Engineer
At least 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing, laboratory, or QC environment
Experience may be in any combination of food manufacturing, laboratory work, or quality control environments
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of food safety systems
This role is critical in ensuring product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance through reliable testing, data integrity, and effective quality control practices.
