Job summary

Benitua-Gan Ventures, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Officer to lead laboratory start-up, ensure GMP-compliant operations, and oversee routine quality control and microbiology functions.

The role collaborates with R&D, Production, and Regulatory teams to maintain product safety and regulatory standards. You will manage lab documentation, GLP/GMP practices, and preparedness for audits while performing microbiological testing and ensuring calibration schedules are followed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Chemistry (PRC license).
• Experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in regulatory requirements and laboratory compliance.
• Detail-oriented with strong observation and reporting skills.
• Able to make objective decisions based on standards.
• Willing to work on-site and support R&D and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the set-up and registration of QC and microbiology laboratory.
• Prepare documentation for laboratory permits, registrations, and approvals.
• Ensure readiness for client, regulatory and GMP audits.
• Perform sensory, physical and chemical testing in support of R&D and production.
• Perform microbiological testing using rapid dry media systems for enumeration and detection.
• Create and maintain SOPs, forms, specifications, logbooks, and quality procedures.
• Establish GLP, GMP, sanitation and contamination control programs.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis and lab reports.
• Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, R&D, QA and Regulatory teams.
• Investigate OOS results, contamination events, and deviations.
• Communicate issues clearly and elevate when needed.

Quality Control Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a QC Officer to ensure that all products manufactured by the Company

meet defined quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of laboratory start-up activities, laboratory compliance, and other regulatory requirements while handling routine quality control and microbiological functions.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Laboratory Start-up and Registration

• Lead the set-up and registration of QC and microbiology laboratory

• Prepare documentation for laboratory permits, registrations, and operational approvals.

• Ensure readiness for client, regulatory and GMP audits.

Quality Control Laboratory

• Performs sensory, physical and chemical testing in support of Research & Development (R&D) and Production operations to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with established specifications.

Microbiology Quality Control

• Perform microbiological testing using rapid ready-to-use dry media systems (e.g., Compact Dry) for enumeration, detection, and monitoring of microbial contaminants in raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, water, and environmental samples.

Systems & Documentation

• Create and maintain SOPs, forms, specifications, logbooks, and quality procedures.

• Establish GLP, GMP, sanitation, and contamination control programs.

• Prepare Certificates of Analysis and laboratory reports.

• Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance schedules.

Coordination with Teams

• Work closely with Production, Planning, R&D, Quality Assurance and Regulatory team to ensure quality is maintained throughout the process

What We’re Looking For
