Benitua-Gan Ventures, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Officer to lead laboratory start-up, ensure GMP-compliant operations, and oversee routine quality control and microbiology functions.
The role collaborates with R&D, Production, and Regulatory teams to maintain product safety and regulatory standards. You will manage lab documentation, GLP/GMP practices, and preparedness for audits while performing microbiological testing and ensuring calibration schedules are followed.
We are looking for a QC Officer to ensure that all products manufactured by the Company
meet defined quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of laboratory start-up activities, laboratory compliance, and other regulatory requirements while handling routine quality control and microbiological functions.
Lead the set-up and registration of QC and microbiology laboratory
Prepare documentation for laboratory permits, registrations, and operational approvals.
Ensure readiness for client, regulatory and GMP audits.
Performs sensory, physical and chemical testing in support of Research & Development (R&D) and Production operations to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with established specifications.
Perform microbiological testing using rapid ready-to-use dry media systems (e.g., Compact Dry) for enumeration, detection, and monitoring of microbial contaminants in raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, water, and environmental samples.
Create and maintain SOPs, forms, specifications, logbooks, and quality procedures.
Establish GLP, GMP, sanitation, and contamination control programs.
Prepare Certificates of Analysis and laboratory reports.
Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance schedules.
Work closely with Production, Planning, R&D, Quality Assurance and Regulatory team to ensure quality is maintained throughout the process
Investigate OOS results, contamination events, and deviations.
Communicate issues clearly and elevate when needed
Graduate of BS Chemistry (must have PRC license)
Experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred
Knowledgeable in regulatory requirements and laboratory compliance
Detail-oriented with strong observation and reporting skills
Able to make objective decisions based on standards
Willing to work on-site and support R&D and production operations
