Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an OMS Champion to support the on-site Operations Management System and to coach the site leadership team. The role focuses on sustaining OMS achievements and ensuring quality across operations.

You will drive OMS implementation, partner with production and quality teams, and enforce quality standards while pursuing continuous improvement. Prior experience in QA within manufacturing, logistics, or transport is preferred.

Qualifications

• College diploma or degree in engineering, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role, preferably in manufacturing, transport or logistics.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and quality control techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using quality management software and data analysis tools.
• Experience in performance management, productivity and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular quality audits and inspections to identify and address non-conformities or defects.
• Implementing quality control measures and processes to prevent quality issues from occurring.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality-related problems.
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation to track quality performance metrics.
• Providing training and guidance to production and operations staff on quality procedures and best practices.
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards and quality management principles.

• Drive the implementation of the OMS principles and maintain the OMS.
• Support the site management team to establish and maintain an organization that delivers.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Job Standardization.

Oms Functions

The Purpose of the OMS Champion Job is to support the implementation of the Operations Management System on site and ensure sustainability. This includes the development and coaching of the site leadership team (supervisors and coordinators) and the tracking of the OMS achievements.

• Drive the implementation of the 4 OMS principles and 12 OMS elements and maintain the OMS
• Support the site management team to establish and maintain an organization that delivers
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Job Standardization
• Support continuous improvement

Requirements
