Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the Philippines invites applications for a Warehousing Operations Manager role supporting 24/7 operations. You will lead a team, plan staffing, ensure safety and SOP compliance, and drive productivity and accurate inventory control across cycle counts, stock takes and scrapping.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in warehousing management, strong leadership, planning and communication skills, and experience with warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in warehousing management in 24/7 operations.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Minimum of 1 year experience of team management.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and motivation skills.
• Excellent communicator (verbal & written).
• Knowledge on Quality, Health & Safety requirements.
• Background in Warehouse Management System.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
• Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members.
• Deliver team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate.
• Facilitate effective communication.
• Manage all disciplinary and grievance issues in line with HR policy.
• Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
• Collaborate with other DHL sites to maximise efficiencies and best practice.
• Organise and lead focus on improved productivity levels.
• Execute and support inventory control processes such as Cycle count, Stock take and scrapping.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the execution and support of the inventory control processes such as Cycle count, Stock take and scrapping. This includes implementation of controls to monitoring of actual performance.


• Maintains strong collaboration with inventory supervisor particularly on the investigation of variances.
