Job summary

HRTX in Makati is seeking a QA Tester to join our onsite team. You will prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate application functionality and ensure quality across system changes.

You will perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing, identify defects, review requirements, and maintain testing documentation. Collaboration with developers, IT teams, and business users is essential in this role within our auditing-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in quality assurance, software testing, application support, or a related IT role.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, test documentation, defect tracking, and testing tools; experience with automation testing is an advantage.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications, databases, and business systems; experience supporting accounting, audit, or professional services applications is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate application functionality, system enhancements, and process changes.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure systems meet business and operational requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects while collaborating with developers, IT teams, and business users to support timely resolution.
• Review system requirements and business processes to ensure appropriate test coverage and identify potential quality risks.
• Maintain testing documentation, prepare test reports, and provide recommendations to improve QA processes and application quality.
