Job summary

Citco in Makati, Philippines seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst (Functional Manual Tester) to plan, design, and execute manual tests across both agile and waterfall projects.

You will define testing strategies with stakeholders, create end-to-end test cases, perform UAT, and collaborate with automation teams to prioritise tests while maintaining high quality.

The role requires a strong QA background, JIRA/Xray/Confluence skills, ISTQB is a plus, and a permanent night shift with hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years in a functional testing role and 1–2 years in an agile testing context.
• Strong QA processes knowledge across the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Xray and Confluence for test management.
• Solid test design skills: equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables.
• ISTQB Foundation certification is a distinct advantage.
• Willingness to work permanent night shift in a hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

• Design, creation, maintenance, optimization, and execution of functional manual test cases.
• Validate application functionality against business requirements and specifications.
• Participate in requirements and design reviews to ensure testability.
• Define testing strategies with stakeholders and support agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with automation and performance teams for test prioritization.
• Log, track, and retest defects; produce QA status reports and manage lifecycle.
