Job summary

HRTX in Makati is seeking an Audit Associate to support planning and execution of audit engagements, assess internal controls, and verify accounting processes. This role works with cross‑functional teams and offers exposure to both internal and external audit practices.

You will gather data, perform testing, prepare working papers and reports, and coordinate with departments. Hybrid setup with 3 onsite days and 2 work-from-home days, and full onsite during training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• Open to CPA and non-CPA candidates.
• 1 year or less of work/internship experience in audit.
• Knowledge of auditing principles and internal controls.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Detail-oriented and maintains confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting audit engagements.
• Perform audit testing and data analysis.
• Gather and analyze financial and operational information to identify risks.
• Prepare working papers and audit reports.
• Document findings and develop recommendations.
• Coordinate with departments to obtain information.
• Follow up on implementation of recommendations.
• Stay updated on accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Support Audit Supervisor/Manager as needed.
