Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
• 1–2 years' experience in an agile testing role.
• 3+ years' experience in a functional testing role.
• Strong background in QA processes, SDLC and methodologies.
• Experience with JIRA, Xray, Confluence.
• ISTQB Foundation Software Certification is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, maintenance, optimization, and execution of functional manual test cases covering end-to-end business scenarios, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Validate application functionality against business requirements and functional specifications
• Participate in requirements and design reviews to ensure testability and completeness
• Define and contribute to suitable testing strategies in collaboration with stakeholders
• Participate in agile testing ceremonies and help transition suitable applications to an agile framework
• Work with the automation and performance testing team to identify and propose appropriate test cases for automation prioritization
• Conduct peer reviews of manual test scripts to ensure adherence to testing standards
• Produce individual QA status reports and support the full defect management lifecycle
• Accurately log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools
• Work closely with Business Analysts and business stakeholders to clarify functional requirements
• Collaborate with Development, Project Management, and QA teams
• Communicate and report on assigned tasks to the QA Lead/Manager and PM
• Take responsibility and exhibit ownership of assigned tasks
