Job summary

Stockcare Cargo and Warehousing Inc. in Quezon City is seeking an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to lead the Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory team.

You will oversee procurement operations, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate inventory across warehousing and logistics to support cost control and reliability. The role emphasizes negotiating favorable terms, monitoring supplier performance, maintaining records, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management and inventory control systems.
• Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiation, vendor management and cost reduction initiatives.
• Proficiency with procurement software, ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the purchasing department and procurement team members.
• Processing purchase orders, managing requisitions, and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Identifying, evaluating and negotiating with potential suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
• Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with warehouse management to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Maintaining accurate procurement records, documentation and up-to-date supplier databases.
• Liaising between operations, warehousing and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of required materials and goods.
• Managing supplier performance, resolving discrepancies and addressing delivery or quality issues promptly.
• Analysing purchasing data and preparing reports on procurement activities, costs and supplier performance.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and industry best practices in procurement.
• Training and mentoring junior procurement staff and contributing to their professional development.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to join the Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory team at Stockcare Cargo and Warehousing Inc. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As Purchasing Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing our procurement operations, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient inventory management across our warehousing and logistics operations. This position is strategically important to our business, directly impacting cost control, supply chain reliability, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for
