Qualifications

• 1-2 years in purchasing/procurement within manufacturing, logistics or warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Proficiency in Excel and procurement software or ERP systems.
• Excellent negotiation skills to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
• Excellent communication to work with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery and reliability.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders with accurate documentation.
• Negotiate prices, terms and conditions for best value.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse management.
• Process requisitions and prioritise orders by urgency and availability.
• Track shipments and manage delivery schedules for on-time receipt of goods.
• Maintain supplier records and documentation including contracts and invoices.
• Resolve supplier issues and disputes in a timely manner.
• Liaise with QA and operations to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and provide spend analysis reports.
