Job summary

Stretch Distribution Inc. is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our warehousing, storage and distribution operations in Legazpi City, Albay. This full-time role oversees procurement, inventory management and logistics to align with strategic objectives and maintain service standards across our distribution network.

You will manage a team, develop cost-saving strategies, and collaborate with sales, operations and finance to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics or related field
• 5+ years in SCM, logistics or warehousing
• Proven warehouse operations experience
• Knowledge of planning, procurement and logistics management
• Experience with ERP/WMS software
• Lean or Six Sigma knowledge advantageous
• APICS CSCP certification preferred

About the role

Stretch Distribution Inc. is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team in Legazpi City, Albay. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in optimising our warehousing, storage and distribution operations. As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain function, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations and logistics to support the company's strategic objectives. This role is central to maintaining operational efficiency and meeting customer service standards across our distribution network.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all aspects of the supply chain function, including procurement, inventory control, warehousing and distribution activities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that optimize costs, improve delivery performance and enhance operational efficiency

• Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, stock rotation, picking, packing and dispatch procedures

• Monitor and manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality standards, on-time delivery and competitive pricing

• Implement inventory control systems and procedures to minimize waste, reduce carrying costs and maintain optimal stock levels

• Analyze supply chain metrics and key performance indicators, providing regular reports and recommendations for continuous improvement

• Manage budgets and control operational costs across warehousing, storage and distribution functions

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies and industry best practices

• Lead, mentor and develop supply chain team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, operations and finance to align supply chain activities with business objectives

• Identify and implement process improvements and new technologies to enhance supply chain performance

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics or warehouse operations within a distribution or manufacturing environment

• Proven experience managing warehouse operations, including inventory control, stock management and order fulfilment

• Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, procurement processes and logistics management

• Proficiency in supply chain management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and warehouse management systems (WMS)

• Demonstrated ability to analyze supply chain data, identify trends and develop actionable insights

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience supervising and developing staff

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels

• Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehousing and distribution operations

• Certification in Supply Chain Management (such as APICS CSCP or similar) is preferred

• Experience with process improvement methodologies (such as Lean or Six Sigma) is advantageous
