Job summary

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our dynamic team at our Makati City facility in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse and distribution centre. As Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient warehouse operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy and customer service. This role is integral to our ability to deliver consistent, reliable logistics solutions to our clients and directly impacts the success of our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping operations
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health, safety and environmental regulations, and company policies
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile stock records to maintain accuracy and prevent discrepancies
• Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and organisation of materials
• Schedule and manage warehouse staff to optimise productivity and meet operational targets
• Conduct induction and training for warehouse team members on standard operating procedures and best practices
• Liaise with other departments, drivers and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve logistical issues
• Maintain detailed records of warehouse operations, including inventory reports and performance metrics
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiency measures
• Respond to and resolve customer enquiries related to orders and shipments

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in warehouse operations, logistics or distribution management
• Proven experience in supervising and managing warehouse teams effectively
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations relevant to warehouse operations
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, management and external parties
• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and carrying of goods
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• A valid driver's licence would be advantageous
• Certification in warehouse management, logistics or a related field is preferred
