TL Sales and Management Services Inc. is seeking a talented Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team in Cubao Quezon City Metro Manila. As a Purchasing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising our company's procurement processes, ensuring we obtain high-quality materials and services at the best possible value. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisation's success.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing procurement strategies to support the company's overall business objectives
2. Negotiating favourable contracts with suppliers, including pricing, delivery terms, and quality specifications
3. Managing the procurement team, providing guidance and supervision to ensure efficient and effective operations
4. Analysing market trends, supplier performance, and spend data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with production, inventory, and logistics requirements
6. Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
7. Developing and implementing supplier performance evaluation and continuous improvement processes
8. Reporting on procurement metrics and KPIs to senior management

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of procurement or supply chain management experience, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
2. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term supplier relationships
3. Proficiency in data analysis and the use of procurement-related software and tools
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments
5. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
6. Proven track record of implementing successful procurement strategies and delivering cost savings
7. Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations and best practices
