JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers of raw materials, components, and other items needed for fabrication.
Maintain an updated supplier database and monitor supplier performance (price, quality, lead time).
Request and analyze quotations and recommend cost-effective purchasing options.
Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders (POs), and related procurement documents.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of procurement paperwork in accordance with company policies.
Coordinate with the accounting department for invoice matching and payment processing.
Monitor and track delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of materials and components.
Coordinate with logistics providers and warehouse staff to manage inbound shipments.
Address any delivery issues or delays proactively with suppliers or couriers.
Work closely with production and warehouse teams to align procurement with inventory levels and production schedules.
Alert relevant teams of any potential delays or shortages that may affect operations.
Ensure all purchased materials meet quality and specification requirements.
Maintain compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, management or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement
experience in procurement, sourcing, and vendor management, preferably in a construction or kitchen fabrication company setup.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills & problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using Google Workspace apps such as Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.
Detail oriented & able to adapt to change.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment competencies
