Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies for construction projects.

About the role

Join the dynamic team at Circle Square Builders Inc. as a Purchasing Staff, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's procurement operations. In this full-time position, you will be based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, contributing to the seamless delivery of materials and supplies essential for the company's construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the procurement of a wide range of materials, equipment, and supplies required for the company's construction projects
• Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain positive relationships
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to understand material requirements and coordinate procurement accordingly
• Maintain accurate inventory records and develop efficient stock management systems
• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency of the department
• Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and other relevant documentation
• Support the team in identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the construction industry
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in using procurement software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools
• Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and supply chain management practices
• A proactive mindset and a keen eye for detail to identify and resolve procurement-related issues
