Job summary

Best Manpower Inc. seeks an experienced procurement professional to manage day-to-day purchasing, source suppliers, and negotiate terms to support production and operations.

The role requires advanced Excel skills, strong vendor management, and the ability to interpret BOMs and drawings, ensuring accurate documentation and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, tables, and pivot tables.
• Experience maintaining databases using Excel, Google Sheets, Microsoft Access, or similar tools.
• Able to interpret BOMs, technical drawings, and product specifications.
• Familiar with using a steel tape measure (metro) and caliper.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities based on company requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, request quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms.
• Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring accurate documentation.
• Monitor orders, delivery schedules, lead times, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Warehouse, and Finance regarding purchasing requirements.
• Review and interpret BOMs, technical drawings, and product specifications.
• Verify product dimensions and requirements using a steel tape measure and caliper when necessary.
• Maintain supplier, product, pricing, and purchasing databases using Excel, Google Sheets, Microsoft Access, or similar tools.
• Prepare purchasing reports using advanced Excel formulas, tables, and pivot tables.
• Resolve supplier concerns involving delays, incorrect deliveries, pricing, or product specifications.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and master data records and support data cleansing and validation.
• Ensure purchasing activities follow company policies, procedures, and budget requirements.
• Perform other procurement and supply-chain-related tasks assigned by management.
