Job summary

Deployed Philippines is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our on-site team in Pasig. You will manage daily replenishment, RFQs, supplier relations, and end-to-end PO processes, supporting a major ERP migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central alongside our Australian partners.

This role requires 2-3 years in procurement, familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of procurement/purchasing experience including daily reordering and RFQ lifecycle.
• Background in heavy manufacturing, automotive engineering, mining services, construction, or related industrial sector.
• Knowledge of ECi M1 or equivalent ERP/MRP system; ERP migration to Business Central is a plus.
• Ability to read BOMs and engineering component descriptions to issue RFQs.
• Willingness to work standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM office hours with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Daily Stock Replenishment: review the daily reorder sheet to maintain optimal stock levels.
• RFQ & Sourcing Management: prepare specs, source quotes, and conduct commercial analysis.
• Procurement & Strategy Support: assist with strategic sourcing initiatives and provide operational support.
• End-to-End PO Management: generate, issue, and track POs in ERP from request to delivery.
• ERP Migration Support: assist with data cleansing and validation for Dynamics 365 Business Central rollout.
• Supplier Relationship Management: maintain supplier relationships and explore new partners.
• Commercial Negotiation: negotiate terms, volume discounts, and freight costs.
• Expediting & Production Alignment: coordinate with production to meet schedules.
• Dispute Resolution: resolve discrepancies and reconcile invoice variances.
• Sales Requisition Support: source components for external truck customers.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Daily Stock Replenishment: Review and action the daily reorder sheet every morning to maintain optimal stock levels for standard production consumables and components.
• RFQ & Sourcing Management: Prepare technical specifications, source competitive vendor quotes, and conduct commercial analysis for non-standard or bulk procurement.
• Procurement & Strategy Support: Assist with the execution of strategic sourcing initiatives and provide operational support to the broader supply chain team under procurement leadership.
• End-to-End PO Management: Generate, issue, and track purchase orders within the M1 ERP system, managing the process seamlessly from initial request to delivery confirmation.
• ERP Migration Support: Support the supply chain and procurement teams with inventory data cleansing, vendor master data validation, and workflow testing in preparation for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central launch.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and engineering vendors while identifying new partners to mitigate supply chain risks and improve lead times.
• Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms, volume discounts, and freight costs with both local and international suppliers to maximize cost efficiencies.
• Expediting & Production Alignment: Monitor supplier lead times and coordinate closely with the Australian workshop team to ensure deliveries align precisely with production schedules.
• Dispute Resolution: Promptly resolve supply discrepancies, process damaged goods claims, secure credit notes, and reconcile invoice variances to ensure accurate accounts payable alignment.
• Sales Requisition Support: Review and action parts requisitions from the Sales team, rapidly sourcing components for external truck customers.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of procurement/purchasing experience, including hands-on work with daily reordering and the full RFQ lifecycle.
• Background in heavy manufacturing, automotive engineering, mining services, construction, or a related industrial sector.
• Knowledge of ECi M1 or a comparable manufacturing ERP/MRP system; experience with an ERP migration (especially to Business Central) is a strong plus.
• Ability to read manufacturing parts lists, bills of materials (BOM), and basic engineering component descriptions to issue accurate RFQs.
• Willingness to commit to standard 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM office hours, maintaining consistent communication with the Procurement Manager and Australian stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for coordinating with offshore teams and external suppliers.

• Work Setup: On-site
• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Perth time, fixed shift, should complete nine (9) hours work
