Job summary

H3 Technology Phils., Inc. is seeking a procurement specialist to manage sourcing of local materials and select imported items as required by various departments.

You will coordinate with suppliers on open POs, pricing, delivery, and quality issues, maintain PO tracking and materials database, and participate in daily logistics meetings to drive timely, cost-effective purchases. The role requires strong communication with Operations and QA teams and the ability to generate supplier performance

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and purchasing local materials and some imported materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers on open PO updates, price, delivery, and quality issues.
• Update the PO tracking list for all suppliers handled.
• Maintain and update the materials database.
• Join daily logistics meetings and present supplier updates.
• Highlight late ETDs, short shipments, and payment issues during logistics meetings.
• Collaborate with Operations, Process Engineer, QC/QA and R&D for supplier qualification of alternatives.
• Generate Suppliers Performance Reports for monitored suppliers.
• Perform other tasks as directed by immediate superior.

Job description

Responsible for sourcing other materials or items upon request of other Departments.

Responsible for purchasing local materials/some imported materials

Responsible for the communications and generations of PO’s suppliers assigned by my superior.

Responsible for coordinating with the suppliers on various issues such as an open PO update, price, delivery, quality issues, etc.

Responsible for updating the PO tracking list for all the suppliers being handled.

Responsible for updating the materials data base.

Actively join the daily logistics meeting.

Presents updates on suppliers being handled during the logistics meeting and highlight issues such as late ETDs, short shipment payment issues, etc., and actively participate in the brain storming for the resolutions of issues.

Coordinates with the Operations, Process Engineer, QC/QA and R&D engineers for the qualification of potential alternative parts/items

Performs other task given by immediate superior.
