INGCOPH TRADERS INC is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to manage purchasing activities, supplier coordination, and procurement documentation. The role requires sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely availability of materials while maintaining cost efficiency and quality.
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain, with strong negotiation and communication skills to work cross-functionally within the organization.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer to manage the company's purchasing activities, supplier coordination, and procurement documentation. The ideal candidate should be skilled in sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, monitoring orders, and ensuring timely availability of materials and products while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and reliability.
Request and compare supplier quotations and prepare purchase recommendations.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other supplier conditions.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and other procurement documents.
Monitor purchase orders from placement until delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, product specifications, and concerns.
Maintain accurate and organized purchasing records and supplier information.
Coordinate with Warehouse, Finance, Operations, and other departments regarding purchasing requirements.
Monitor inventory and assist in ensuring timely replenishment of needed items.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Management, or a related field.
Relevant experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain is preferred.
Experience in supplier sourcing, canvassing, quotation comparison, and price negotiation is an advantage.
Knowledge of purchasing procedures and procurement documentation.
Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Able to analyze quotations, prices, and supplier terms.
Can work independently while coordinating effectively with different departments.
Responsible, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
