Job summary

Lennor Metier Consulting, partnering with a leading chemical manufacturing and supply chain solutions company, is seeking a Purchasing Manager based in Taguig City. This on-site role requires proven leadership in procurement, supplier management, and end-to-end sourcing to deliver cost‑effective materials and services.

You will develop procurement strategies, oversee PO processing, mentor the team, and collaborate with Finance, Logistics, and Operations to support business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of purchasing/procurement/supply chain experience, including supervisory/managerial exposure.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, and PO management.
• Proven leadership in managing procurement teams and end-to-end purchasing operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives and cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Oversee end-to-end purchasing activities, including supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, Purchase Order processing, and delivery monitoring.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the purchasing team to ensure efficient procurement operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while negotiating pricing, payment terms, and service agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Review and approve procurement documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Warehouse, Logistics, Operations, and other departments to support business requirements.
• Prepare procurement reports and provide updates on purchasing performance, supplier commitments, and pending orders.
• Conduct site visits and provide procurement support across company locations as needed.
• Perform other duties related to purchasing and procurement as assigned.

Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a leading chemical manufacturing and supply chain solutions company in their search for a Purchasing Manager based in Taguig City.

Salary Range: TBD

Work Setup: Primarily on-site from Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Saturdays when required by business needs.

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional Saturday work depending on business requirements.

The role

The Purchasing Manager will lead the company's procurement operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, supplies, equipment, and services. This role is responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, leading the purchasing team, and ensuring compliance with company policies while supporting business and operational goals.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, including experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, and Purchase Order management.
• Proven leadership experience in managing procurement teams and end-to-end purchasing operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.
• Willing to conduct field visits and travel to company sites, warehouses, and project locations as required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive both manual and automatic four-wheel vehicles.
• Willing to work on-site in Taguig City.
