About the role

Gomeco Metal Corporation, a leading manufacturer of high-quality metal products, is seeking an exceptional Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team. In this full-time, on-site role based in Malinta Valenzuela City, Metro Manila, you will play a crucial part in driving the company's procurement strategy and ensuring the seamless supply of raw materials and components.

What you’ll be doing

1. Develop and implement effective purchasing policies and procedures to optimize costs, quality, and delivery times
2. Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, including pricing, lead times, and quality standards
3. Manage and coordinate the procurement of raw materials, components, and equipment to meet production requirements
4. Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Production, Finance, Logistics) to align procurement activities with business objectives
6. Monitor inventory levels, identify and address any supply chain issues, and implement strategies to minimize disruptions
7. Provide regular reports and recommendations to management on procurement activities and performance
8. Mentor and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

What we’re looking for
