Job summary

Alphaland Corporation is seeking a Public Area Supervisor to oversee cleanliness of hotel public areas including exteriors, and to train and inspect assigned attendants to ensure procedures meet hotel operating standards. The role includes supervising cleaning in lobby, restaurants, lounges, SPA, pool area and more.

The candidate should have 2–3 years in public area experience, strong English communication, leadership, and the ability to manage inventories and coordinate staff shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cleaning activity of areas including lobby, restaurants, lounges, SPA, executive offices, pool area, public washrooms and hallways.
• Supervise day to day cleaning of The City Club public areas.
• Perform routine inspections of all public areas.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
• Assign duties and coordinate breaks for assigned staff.
• Prepare and distribute assignment worksheets to assigned staff and review priorities.
• Assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Efficiently manage stock control and the maintenance of all equipment.
• Report all maintenance defects and follow up with Engineering.
• Manage and train Public Area Attendants and other team members to ensure their performance meets the standards required.

About the role

Public Area Supervisor is responsible for the cleanliness of the hotel's public areas including hotel exteriors. He or She also trains and inspects the performance of assigned public area attendants ensuring that all procedures are completed as per hotel's operating standards. In charge and supervises cleaning activity.
