The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning operations to ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and appearance. The position ensures that all housekeeping staff follow company policies, cleaning procedures, and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping attendants and public area cleaners.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Assign daily tasks and cleaning schedules to the housekeeping team.
• Ensure proper inventory and supply of cleaning materials, linens, and guest amenities.
• Train new housekeeping staff and conduct regular refresher training on cleaning standards and safety protocols.
• Address and resolve guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
• Report maintenance issues or damages to the Engineering/Maintenance Department.
• Maintain accurate records of room status, staff attendance, and cleaning reports.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and occupational safety standards.
• Support management in planning staff schedules based on occupancy levels.
